Description

This PEI Bridge App is made for travellers using the Confederation Bridge connecting mainland North America to Canada’s smallest province, Prince Edward Island.

The Confederation Bridge is the world's longest bridge over ice-covered waters (12.9 km/8miles) and takes a mere 10 minutes to cross at the posted speed limit of 80km/hr.
With the PEI Bridge App you will be able to access up-to-the-minute advisories on the traffic status of the bridge.
Advisories include:

“Green ” – traffic running smoothly
“Amber ” – caution advisory, partial closure
“Red ” – complete closure

You can also find out the current weather conditions and temperature (in degrees celsius) in Borden-Carleton, PE (home town of the Confederation Bridge). Or, access 2 day advance weather forecasts for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

For further current road conditions, motorists can use PEI Bridge App’s direct link to 511™ telephone recordings.
PEI Bridge App also shows you up-to-date tolls and fees for all vehicles and answers some frequently asked questions about pedestrian and cyclist traffic.
