Description

The Family Genealogy Online application is a virtual family database.
The application was created to explore and preserve the historical heritage of the ancestors.
Contains a list of family members and their family ties. Photos and copies of documents.
Each family member can contribute and update information from anywhere in the world.
All information is stored on your family website in genealogical cards.
The website platform is located on GitHub https://github.com/dvpt1/genealogy-family-online .
The platform is completely free.
It is free to download and install on your website. The installation instructions are in the same place.

Family members' cards are stored in the "cards" folder in ".card" files (for example, 000001.card, 000002.card, etc.).
The "fotos" folder contains subfolders (for example, 000001, 000002, etc.) containing photos and copies of the person's documents.
A gallery of photos is created separately for each family member.

The platform is a web interface for accessing the database from web browsers and applications.
A built-in API is available for working with the platform from applications running on Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android.
The API is located on the site in the 'api' directory.
Access to the site's API is configured in the application Settings.
The application can work both online and offline.
When the application is running offline, the data is stored in the application folder in the Documents directory.
Switching between the modes is done in the Application Settings.

Family members can add new people and edit data depending on the access level.
There are three levels of access:
- 0 - full access and administration access via - cadm.php
- 0 - full access
- 1 - you can edit only your own cards
- 2 - you can only watch
The user registered first in the list (id=1) has the administrator rights.
The site is administered via cadm.php (https://site.online/cadm.php ).

Information on the platform is stored on family tree cards of family members in JSON format. The cards are located on the server in the "CARDS" directory and have the file extension ".card". The photos are stored in the FOTOS catalog.
The history and relationships in the family can be viewed using genealogical reports.:

Download from the GitHub website https://github.com/dvpt1/genealogy-family-online the platform template.
Upload the unpacked archive to your site via FTP, SFTP, or other means to the root of the site or a separate folder on your site.

Set up file configurations on the website - ccfg.php .
Create a database in MySQL and tables `csessions` and `cusers`
Create the first user - it will be superuser.
A new user activation link will be sent to your E-mail. Follow it by clicking on the link in the email.
Upon activation, the user is assigned the 2nd access level.
To change the access level, the site administrator must in the panel cadm.php assign access level 0 or 1 to a user, for example.

To log in to the website, enter your username and password. Click Log In.
A 6-digit code will be sent to your E-mail. Enter it in the code field. Click Sign In again.
Attention, if there are no emails, check the SPAM folder.
