Description

In Big Bass, the player is immediately greeted by a vibrant interface, designed in a rich, volcanic palette. The main screen features three icons: game start, settings, and a medal—each leading to a key part of the experience. Starting unlocks a choice of Newbie and Pro difficulties, which vary the speed of the approaching strawberries. Once selected, a dynamic round begins.

The swipe mechanic is at the core of Big Bass's gameplay. Strawberries slowly descend from above, and the player's goal is to swipe each strawberry precisely into the gap between the existing elements. The berry flies in a straight line and occupies the empty space. If the gap is the last one in a row and a full line is formed, the strawberries flash with a vibrant animation and disappear, earning the player 100 points. As the player progresses, the speed of the falling strawberries increases, requiring quicker aim and more accurate throwing.

The current score and a pause button are displayed at the top of the screen. Selecting pause opens a "Paused" pop-up with Continue and Menu buttons. If the strawberries reach the bottom of the screen, a "Game Over" pop-up appears with Restart and Menu options.

The settings icon on the main screen opens a pop-up window with options to share Big Bass and turn the music on or off.
The medal icon is a special screen: it displays the player's best score, and a stylized trophy with a strawberry on it begins to shimmer when it appears, emphasizing the atmosphere of competition and progress.

All this combines to make Big Bass a fast, vibrant, and action-packed arcade experience where reaction time, precision, and the desire to beat your own record again and again are crucial.
