1952년 한국의 전쟁고아들을 돕기 위해 시작된 국제어린이양육기구 컴패션은, 현재 전 세계 29개국에서 8,800여 개 교회와 함께 230만 명 이상의 어린이들을 가정과 지역을 변화시키는 자립 가능한 성인이 될 수 있도록 전인적(지적∙사회정서적∙신체적∙영적)으로 양육하고 있습니다.

한국컴패션은 수혜국에서 후원국으로 된 첫 사례로 2003년 설립되었으며 현재 약 14만 명의 어린이들이 한국 후원자들을 통해 양육 받고 있습니다.
