關於中環街市活化項目:中環街市活化項目為市區重建局（下稱「市建局」）轄下的保育活化項目，亦為政府「保育中環」的重點工作之一。市建局為復修及保育這幢已有80年歷史的三級歷史建築物，特別應用領先的復修技術、項目工程管理軟件和物料，提高效率和保育成效。在營運方面，市建局則透過夥拍華懋集團，共同營運及管理這座位於中環核心區域的建築物。
市建局及華懋集團將攜手合作，為中環街市注入“Playground for All”概念，將這個自1939年起營運至2003年的地標打造成「親」、「動」、「融」兼備的活力社區熱點，既保留集體回憶，也為社區帶來嶄新的體驗。
